Instructions
FIRST POP OUT THE CAP OF THE HIGHLIGHTER ( not the normal cap, the other side, it may take a knife to get it out) take out the ink, there should be a block of ink, get a pencil or pen and stick it down the highlighter tube to pop out the bottom part of the ink which is detached. Wash out and dry the highlighter, and keep the cap.
1. Drill a hole, the size of your switch in the pen.
(the second hole)
2. Drill another hole to the size of your led
(first hole)
3. Make a circuit like this(after instructions)
Solder some long wire to the negative end of the led, and shorter wire to the positive end, make sure the wire from the negative end of the led can reach the back of the pen. Make sure the wire from the positive end can reach the momentary switch hole.
Heres a picture.
Solder the wire from the positive end of the led that comes out of the switch hole onto either end of the switch.
Tape or solder the longer wire coming from the negative end of the led to the negative end of the battery.
Soldier some wire from the other end (not Soldered) of the switch to the positive end of the battery.
This is what you should have:
Put electrical tape on all of the exposed wire, to make sure the connections dont bridge, now would be a good time to test the switch. IR LEDS CAN ONLY BE SEEN BY CAMERAS USE YOUR CAMERA PHONE TO LOOK AT THE LED NOT YOUR EYES.
If it works, then glue the switch in properly, and tightly and glue the led in, and put the battery snugly in.
Put the cap on adn you will have this:
I have made two, make as many as you like…then you need the wiimote.
Once you have that, go ahead and download Wiimote Whiteboard 0.3
DOWNLOAD
The changes from that and the original wiimotewhiteboard is that i added:
- Right Click Support, when it senses two leds
- Better calibration
- There were a few grammar mistakes and spelling, and capitals
- What buttons you are pressing (doesnt work yet)
- Accelerometer
- Made sure the code was PERFECT WITH NO ERRORS AT ALL
- Updated to 2008 (it was 2005 C#)
- changed a few things (the layout)
- Much more…..
EASTER EGG
- PRess B and the controller vibrates
- Press up and the LEDS on the wiimote change……
NOTE
Right click is beta, and sometimes because of the natural infrared around us, the software thinks that there are two IR lights when there are truly only one.
